Application examples of tube packaging in the Oral care industry

I.Toothpaste

The most classic and most extensive application! Whether it is common fluoride toothpaste, whitening toothpaste, anti-allergy toothpaste, herbal toothpaste or children’s toothpaste, the vast majority are packaged in tubes.

Equipment requirements: Toothpaste filling has certain requirements for precision and hygiene. Our hose filling and tail sealing machine can achieve high-precision metering filling, as well as firm and reliable internal heat tail sealing or folding tail sealing. The production line also needs to adapt to the filling of pastes of different viscosities.

II.Dental professional products

Equipment requirements: Such products are usually of high value and have stricter requirements for filling accuracy, the cleanliness of the production environment (GMP requirements), as well as the sealing and light-blocking properties of the packaging. Our equipment can meet the filling and sealing requirements of these standards.

III.Oral Ulcer ointment

Oral ulcer ointment/gel is a kind of ointment or gel used to relieve the pain of oral ulcers and promote healing. It is packaged in a soft tube for convenient and precise application on the affected area.

Equipment requirements: Similar to dental professional products, demanding precision, cleanliness and sealing. The design of the pipe opening is usually small and pointed.

IV.Children’s oral care products

Equipment requirements: In addition to the basic filling and tail sealing functions, the production equipment also needs to adapt to smaller-sized and more diverse shapes of hoses.

In the pet industry, tube packaging has become the mainstream packaging form for paste-like products such as nutritional pastes, hairdressing pastes, toothpaste, ear medicine, and deworming medicine due to its excellent sealing performance and precisely controllable dosage characteristics. It effectively ensures the hygiene and safety of the products and enhances their convenience of use.

The hose filling and sealing machine is the core equipment for producing such paste products. Given that the equipment comes into direct contact with materials, its key components must be made of materials that meet food-grade standards and comply with relevant GMP production regulations to ensure the quality and safety of the final product.

Application examples of flexible tube packaging in the pet industry

1、Pet toothpaste is an oral hygiene product specially designed for pets. It mostly uses natural edible ingredients, but natural ingredients are more prone to deterioration, so the sealing property of the packaging is required to be high. The tube packaging has strong sealing performance, which can reduce bacterial invasion, isolate oxygen and moisture, and effectively prevent the oxidation and deterioration of toothpaste. It is very suitable for packaging pet toothpaste.

2、The main functions of pet ear medicine are to clean the ear canal, kill bacteria and reduce inflammation, and eliminate ear mites. Due to its unique application scenarios, the packaging needs to balance precise drug administration and hygiene protection. Therefore, the tubes are mostly designed with pointed ends. In response to this demand, Riko Co., Ltd. has developed a dedicated filling and sealing equipment for pointed hoses, which supports the filling of various specifications of pointed hoses.

3、Pet deworming medicine is a drug used to prevent and treat internal and external parasitic infections in pets. Among them, the external deworming drops are very suitable for tube packaging. External deworming should be carried out regularly every month. To prevent the drug from deteriorating due to multiple openings, single packaging is often used. At the same time, costs need to be controlled. Therefore, flexible tube packaging becomes the best choice.

4、Pet hairball remover is a commonly used product to help cats expel hairballs from their stomachs. Due to the soft material of the tube packaging and the scale marked on the surface, the dosage can be directly observed during extrusion, avoiding poor results due to feeding too little or diarrhea caused by excessive dosage. It is very suitable for pet grooming cream.

5、Pet nutrition paste is a concentrated paste-like food designed to supplement the nutrition of pets, which can quickly replenish energy and nutrients. The tube packaging is made of pure aluminum tubes or aluminum-plastic composite materials, and is sealed with inner stoppers or screw caps. It can effectively block air, moisture and bacteria, prevent the oxidation and failure of vitamins in the paste, and the rancidity and deterioration of oil components, thus extending the shelf life.

6、Pet body wash can effectively clean hair, care for skin, deodorize, and keep pets healthy and clean. Pet body wash packaged in soft tubes can effectively isolate the outside world, preventing the active ingredients in the body wash from deteriorating due to oxidation or moisture, and thus extending the product’s shelf life.

At the beginning of the New Year, everything is renewed. With gratitude, the chairman of the board led the team to set foot on a customer visit trip in Southeast Asia, visiting 18 customers including well-known cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, adhesives and distributors in Malaysia and Thailand. This trip is not only a “warm journey” to deepen cooperation, but also a “breaking the waves” to explore market opportunities in Southeast Asia.

1、Trip to Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, this exotic city, let us feel the unique charm of Malaysia. Here, we had a series of in-depth and fruitful meetings with our clients.

We have visited two local adhesives leading enterprises. As an important supplier of industrial adhesives in Southeast Asia, these two companies have long cooperated with our company to purchase high-precision filling equipment for adhesive production.

The person in charge of the adhesive production company said: “Since the establishment of the cooperation relationship in 2005, the equipment of Nicao shares has always maintained an efficient and stable operation, and the after-sales service is also very in place. Chairman Wu Chaowu personally led the team to visit, let us feel the importance of high shares to customers. We look forward to continuing to deepen our cooperation in the New Year to jointly promote the development of the industry.”

2、A trip to Thailand

During the multi-day business visit to Thailand, our team visited many leading local enterprises in depth: first, we visited a well-known cosmetics manufacturer in Thailand and got to know its advanced R&D laboratory and production line in depth; Subsequently, we visited the largest supplier of hose packaging materials in Thailand to investigate its intelligent production workshop and environmentally friendly packaging solutions. In addition, the team also visited a famous pharmaceutical company in Thailand to investigate its international production line layout.

Through this field visit, we not only have an in-depth understanding of the industrial ecology of Thailand’s cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, but also have laid a solid foundation for subsequent business cooperation.

In addition to business exchanges, we also experienced the culture and customs of Malaysia and Thailand. In the process of tasting the local food and visiting the local beauty, we felt the warmth and friendliness of the local people. These beautiful memories will become the most precious harvest of our trip.
